About the Workshop
Athletes — whether professional or recreational — bring incredible strengths to their training, but they also face unique challenges. Repetitive movements, muscle imbalances, and the constant demand for peak performance can leave even the strongest athlete with gaps in stability, flexibility, or overall body awareness. While determination and discipline drive their success, many athletes lack the mind-body connection that can take their performance — and longevity — to the next level.
This workshop is designed to bridge that gap. Using the Pilates Chair and Foam Roller, Sheri Long will guide you through targeted exercises and innovative variations that address the athlete’s most important needs: strength, mobility, endurance, acceleration/deceleration, and precision. Through creative programming and hands-on practice, you’ll discover how Pilates can complement and elevate athletic performance.
